I-ACTIVSENSE®

INTUITIVE TECHNOLOGY. INSTINCTIVE SAFETY.

i-ACTIVSENSE® represents an innovative advancement in active safety technologies. This cutting-edge system is designed to autonomously detect and assess the surrounding environment of a vehicle, including factors such as low light conditions and the presence of other vehicles. By doing so, it assists drivers in identifying potential dangers, mitigating risks, and minimizing the impact of unavoidable accidents. This state-of-the-art technology prioritizes safety above all else.

BLIND SPOT MONITORING SYSTEM (BSM)

Mazda’s Blind Spot Monitoring System (BSM) employs radar sensors to detect objects within your peripheral blind spots. Once detected, the system promptly notifies you through a warning light located in the corresponding side mirror.

ADAPTIVE FRONT-LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS)

The Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) improves nighttime visibility by adjusting up to 15º in the direction of your turn, enabling you to detect potential hazards earlier. This feature enhances safety on the road and allows for a more confident driving experience.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT (RCTA)

During the process of reversing out of a parking space, the Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) system is designed to swiftly identify any nearby vehicles approaching from either side and promptly notify the driver.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM (LDWS)

The Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) is designed to detect lane markings on the road and provide a warning to the driver if it anticipates that the vehicle is about to unintentionally drift out of its designated lane.

HIGH BEAM CONTROL SYSTEM (HBC)

The High Beam Control System is designed to assist the driver in quickly identifying pedestrians and other potential obstacles on the road at night. It achieves this by automatically switching between high and low beams as needed.

SMART CITY BRAKE SUPPORT (SCBS)

The system is designed to detect objects in front of the vehicle when traveling at low speeds. It takes proactive measures by adjusting the brake pads closer to the disc, preparing the vehicle to stop. If the driver does not respond, the system will automatically activate the brakes for added safety.

MAZDA RADAR CRUISE CONTROL (MRCC)

Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) is a cutting-edge technology that actively monitors the speed of the vehicle in front and autonomously adjusts cruise control settings to ensure a safe headway distance is maintained. This sophisticated system utilizes radar sensors to ensure a seamless and secure driving experience.

FORWARD OBSTRUCTION WARNING (FOW)

The Forward Obstruction Warning (FOW) system is designed to identify other vehicles in front of the driver and provide timely alerts when there is a potential risk of collision. By detecting these risks early on, the FOW system enables drivers to take necessary evasive action and prevent accidents.

SMART BRAKE SUPPORT (SBS)

This system aids in the prevention or mitigation of collisions at moderate to high speeds by detecting vehicles and obstacles up to 200 meters ahead. Once a potential collision is identified, the system engages by automatically applying the brakes to gradually decelerate the vehicle.
